As a bit of a follow-on from the Teen Surveys I’ve done before. Here are some stats taken from the Facebook Ad tool on stats around teenagers (those 19 and under) and how they are accessing Facebook.
Teens and Mobile and Facebook
Survey using Facebook Advertising system shows about 3/4 of teenagers on Facebook are using Mobile devices to access Facebook. Survey also shows that Apple is the preferred device for accessing Facebook using mobile for Irish teens, with 37% teenagers on Facebook using Apple devices to log on every month. 12.8% of Facebook teens use an iPhone 4 or 5, 15% are using an iPod Touch, 7.2% are using an iPad. Meanwhile Google’s mobile system, Android has a share of 26%, Blackberry is at 3.5% and Windows Mobile is at 0.55%
